you have an unlimited amount I think.... (never checked, but I know there is a lot)

edit:pressing + or - should make you go from 1 pattern to the other...

the maximum is 999 patterns.... thats quite enough I think

Are there only 9 patterns in Fruity for each project because 9 isn't enough for me and it's kinda annoying to go and open a new project and do the other things on another file?

lol, i almost never use more than 9.
pattern 1-4 the verse with different variations
pattern 5 chorus
pattern 6&7 intro and outro
and if i get a idea for a bridge or something i'll add that. but i don't usually go over 9.

I think the amount of patterns you use depends on how you make your beats...

me, personally, I like to have my drumbeats in seperate patterns (and sometimes, I'll even split the kick/snare/hihat/etc... in different patterns) and I put every instruments in a different pattern... that way, it's easier for me to cut the kick in a part of the song or to add a particular instrument in the chorus etc...

Haha yah my first song was one pattern, but I did realize I could change up the BPM. My last one was like 18 or 19 different patterns
