I am not sure of the features but its definitely cheaper and more affordable, I would say its sort of like Korg's approach with the Triton and then the more affordable trimmed down, touch displayless Triton LE, I owned the classic Motif and the Motif ES...I would and the description that is up says

I think its probably a good buy, but the decription leads me to believe its not as good a board for whatever reason because they describe it as a descendant of the PRO Level ES LOL so what is this saying? its not a pro level board these people kill me....but it is a phrase based sequencer the other mo's are pattern based so this tells me you are sort of limited to phrase and preconstructed riffs I think not really constructing ground up patterns I know the old sp-808 was billed as phrase sequencers but I made tracks with my own patterns on it LOL???? ..anyhow I havent had a chance to test it but if it was me I would just save the extra cake and get the ES and call it a day...

hey this thing is kind of sick.... it can work as a VSTi in ur Software sequencer...you can control ur pc shit from it too... imma go play with it at the local guitar center if they have one. here are some specs:
