Mixtape Structure?

Ok so basically what Im tryna figure out is if I were to put together a mixtape would i use whole songs, parts of songs, freestyles or all of that?

it depends on what you want to do...If you want it for expouser for un-known artist Freestyle over well known beats and an orginal song or 2 by the best mc on the mixtape

Hey one question is reselling mixtapes officialy illegal, like reselling on a website.

mix tape are illegal point blank now to sell them on a web site could be a little tricky if you notice that on every mix tape it says for promotional use only so to put it on a web site may get you a little trobule not by artist and producers but by the irs no selling them on the street is an easier way to get it out without any worries but the internet game is something totaly diffrent

the way i see it goldy, a mixtape is your canvas, it is up to you to paint the sonic landscape.. do what you think sounds dope
