Mixing in FL / Global channels?

I have the following problem:

My kick /snare etc usually consist of several kick samples (Fruity Sampler CHannel), which I layer on top of each other.

Now when it comes to mixing I only want to change the overall kickdrum volume and not each individual channel.
Is there something like a global channel that can control the other ones? Of course the ration within these samples has to be kept!
Some might argue that I can bounce the drums and load them back in as a sample but i would prefer to do it the way i described above. Any ideas?

Yo it sounds like you don't have them sent to an FX channel. Left Click on the sampler channel for each of the kicks in the step sequencer to bring up the channel settings menu. The top right corner is the FX channel #. Put them all at the same number. Click on the FX tab in the top right hand corner of FL. Go to whatever # you selected. Use compression, equalizers or the fruity balance to bring the volume of the kicks up. If the FX part of FL is news to you, you have no idea what you've been missing... have fun...

** OR you could use a layer... to learn how to use that open up the browser (left side) then hit up Projects/Tutorial/Layer channels and read about how to make a layer channel.

thanks for your answer. i know how to route effects, but that wasn´t the deal i was looking for. using a layer sounds good, but does it keep the ratio? let´s say i have tweaked 2 kicks to form my song´s kick and i want kick a to be rather quit, won´t the layer bring both sampler channels to the same volume? I will try this tonight.

nope it will allow you to adjust the volume while keeping the same ratio... hit up the misc tab to further increase the volume of the layer channel...
