Everything i play is off beat and when tyr to make a pattern it's even worse. Can anyone that uses a midi board help me please.

on the topic of midi keyboards...does anyone know how to assigan different sounds to different keys...like i want the c note to be a kick and the d note to be a snare...any help would be appreciated...oh yeah in FL 6
