Midi Keyboard Problem

right, wernt sure wether to post this in the hardware section or not.

yo, hears the thing, got this midi keyboard/controller (carillon control 49), i hooked it up to computer and it automatically installs it thru the usb port, now aparently its sposed to be able to send midi messages thru its usb cable, but when im in CUBASE (or any other sequencer) there doesnt seem to be an option of using my keyboard as a midi input. it sais i dont NEED a midi cable to use it, but im starting to wonder coz it doesnt appear in any of my host softwares --altho it has deffinatly instaled on the computer.

any help with this problem would be apreciated. get at me, peace!

the only thing i can tell you is that u might want to upgrade your programs!!
other than that get your self a midiman box they are reall cheap hook that up threw usb
then hook up your midi into the box
then when u go to your program go to preferences
and change your input midi!! it should work!! but dont forget too u might have to install all the drivers as well
sometime all the drivers dont get automactically installed in
thats why its always good to install it with the cd it came with i had the same problem with my midiman keyboard too i hook it up in usb and it would read but it wasn't installing all the drives then i install the rest of the drives in and it worked until my usb output on my keyboard broke then i had to use the midi man box to use my mid keyboard
