We were jus talkin about this in my pop culture class - where we examined tha issue of how once a person becomes a celebrity and is living a life where everything is diffrerent from before and you have people doing all of tha simple things in life for you, you can start to lose track of just who you really are.
And in michaels case, considering his childhood as well as tha fact that hes been dam messed up for near a century now, beyond simply considering his past - maybe even longer?...I think hes most def. fucked up this time and theres no hope for his career that has really quite withered away regardless - but now no one is going to want to be associated with him, and i dont blame them. What he once was is far different from what he is now and i think thats clearly evident now. Its really a shame though - a man with that much talent all down tha tubes to fondle little children that really sux!

my friend and i were talking about this to. he tried to say that he is snorting too much coke, but i told him that his nose doesn't work, so that cant be. then we decided he hasent been black since about '82, so for about 20 years michael jackson has been dead.

Well also, what about tha fact that he ran away with his kids to vegas so that tha popo wouldnt find him automatically even though he had mad press every where?? Thats really not a good environment for a child, and thats aside from runnin from tha cops.

Michael Jackson is just twisted, have you ever seen him in an interview? His world perspectives are just wrong, and awkward. He said in an interview once, "the children sleep with me out of love, and not a LUST love, I mean a kind of love no one has in this world anymore." The funny thing is, when he said this, (about a year ago,) I believed it. I figured he was just misunderstood, and really had a passion for kids. I guess he does lol, but not in a normal way... at all... (puke)

I think MJ. has lost all sense of reality that exists in a real world that a real person goes through, and I believe this obsession with children is pretty much his reaction or actions to fulfill a missed childhood and a life that went by just too fast. I believe he regrets what he did to himself and is now trying to get the world to look at him as a normal person - by using children and his love for them - i believed his innocency the first time around but the second now i am not so sure anymore, its best for me now to let go of the hopes of a his big comeback,

This has been a bad year for black folk R.Kelly got himmed up now Micheal Jackson's goin down, Farrakhan needin to hold two grown mens's hands like babies, The rise and fall of the "new" black panthers, and they still tryin ta lock OJ's ass up lol. As for Micheal Jackson I dont think its hard to tell that he is seriously fucked up. I think I read somewhere that childhood stars often grow to have mental problems seein how their childhood was so abnormal with all the lights, attention, money, interviews and all that. But Im not going to believe what they're sayin about Mike until I see it.

I think Michael is innocent and he is NOT a paedo. He is a musical genius, but he definitely does set himself up for allegations by going on TV by saying that he does like it when children sleep in his bed.
But hey, what do you expect from someone who has been taught to perform and entertain from such a young age? He's lived his whole life in a bubble that has been totally isolated from reality. He admits that his dad used to beat him, and he had no real child hood.

I'm not that concerned about MJ's anticts in or outside the musical realm. I've seen the coverage on him from flying in and surrendering to police at the airport, to him holding his hands behind his back for the cuffs. I feel that this is already becoming a MEDIA event that will be over exagerated. I find that most people don't care about him very much unless he's in the news or coming out with a new album which happens only once every three years.
The one thing that gets my attention about MJ is, his appeal to kids all over the world. Being a "SUPERSTAR" all over the planet helps but I don't see him doing anything for those kids that aren't close to him yet he still manages to capture the hearts of hundreds of thousands of kids. That disturbs me. I don't even think that his music is directed strickly for kids. I think that WE (as parents) all need to re-evaluate who our kids look up to. A Peter Pan looking idol may seem harmless and look entertaining but as we all say..."what looks good to us isn't always good for us". MJ should deal with his issues before he finally self destructs.
One other thing...MJ did that Barbara Walters interview and said that he sleeps with kids but not in a sexual way and that bought up some serious questions in my mind. Why would any parent want their kid sleeping in a bed with a grown man? Why would MJ tell the public that he does such a thing? Doesn't he know that will only open doors that lead to him being charged with child molesting? Doesn't he know that times aren't that good and people will sue his @$$ to gain profit in a second?
My conclusion...MJ is no dummy. He didn't make millions on being dumb and niave. He plays on our symphathy with "it's all my dads fault" and " I'm innocent". He has manipulated the world and now he's gonna try to play on it's sympathy again.

I agree with most of yall, and i also acknowledge tha fact that tha media chooses to show specific footage and nothing more, in even strategic ways so that tha story appears totally false....But in tha amount of time that weve listened to and known michael from a far - i think we all know at least a great deal about him due to tha fact that hes a pop star mogul...theres really no way to hide when your that large, so i also do think that several pieces of footage that we have seen has exibited a overwhelming amount mental problems that tha poor guy has....Regardless of his wonderful career and his strong heart - if your fucked up in tha head and your not getting better - your bound to hurt or negatively influence tha people around you even if thats not your intentions. Mind you, this isnt absolute - but a very logical inferment.
