Might be missing something, but for those who've actually touched both, can somebody tell me the difference between an MPC Live and a MPC Touch?

I think they're the same except the Live is a stand-alone. But I'm not sure. Maybe @tomkillsjerry has one of these?

Yeah it's kind of weird (if that's the case) because you'd figure they'd at least make it look different.
