Good video! Do you do everything on the MPD?

Thanks Fade! I originally learnt to produce on a MPC2000XL, but moved on to software a couple of years ago. As I'm used to that style I'll often use the MPD whenever I deal with drums or samples. However, I don't always sample. I'll use a synth or midi keyboard to come up with my own chord progressions etc. it just depends.

The MPD is nice but I just had feeling that it wasn't complete, that's why I moved on to Maschine. The software with the MPD was bleh. But I've seen some amazing stuff done with the MPD.

I've never used the Maschine, but some other producers I know do. I think it is probably the better option, especially if you use it with logic. The Maschine software appears to work much better with it whereas the MPD is basically just aa midi controller
