yes.. when i first got my RS7000 i started doin this.. if u have any type of sample manipulation features in ur machine, ur capable of doin anything, and makin any type of sound.. this is one way to avoid sample clearances.. and another reason these sampling laws are too damn strict and extreme.. just sing, hum, talk, whistle or watever thru ur sampler, and get ta work.. i always taked about this to people for years, but i dont think people really understood wat i was talkin bout, bcuz the MP and other machines really didnt do this... i believe other than the computer and the RS, the MPC 5000 and the Spectralis can do these things now.. thats why i would get one of those if i were to buy another machine.
