it doesnt really matter how many beats ya make in a time span. Everybodies different. wit those 60 beats, prolly only 15-20 of 'em are keepers. I say, dont force yourself to be hot. When you hot know you hot. And when you wack, you take a break n' make acouple wack ones until u hot.

I agree, No JOB = Plenty-O-beatmaking!.....I mean, i commend those guys and whoever else that can bust ill shit out like that - but all i was sayin earlier is that it aint a race, and i hear people lately tending to lean on tha side of "more beats a day - makes you a solid producer or sumthin"...that jus aint tha case if u ask me....Of course, im looking at this from an artists point of view rather than tha view of a way to capitalize ultimately.....I think thats where cats get it twisted.

The point is this dude took his equipment to his job and made beats, while doing 24 hours shifts, thats crazy determination.

While 60 beats a month is Fine and dandy for Oh No, making too many beats would distract me from the pleasures of life, such as gettin drunk in a city near you, playin b-ball and just leavin the damn house!

I look at it differently, some might see makin all those beats as dedication, I see it as
either he's mad efficient or he don't have balance in his life. But Madlib and his bro come from a musical family so he probably keep his MPC on all day, I'm glad he's doin his thing though ! Peace.

When I Had Fresh Bundle Of Samples It Was Easy To Rattle Off 4-5 Beats A Day. So It Doesnt Suprise Me That Anybody Can Make 60 Beats A Month. This Time Last Year I Was In The Exact Same Position. I Released 7-10 Consecutive Instrumental Only Cd's With 15 Or More Tracks. It Doesnt Suprise Me That Dre Makes 4-5 Beats A Day Considering The Level Of Access He Has To Samples, Eqipment And The Incentive To Geeeing Paid. Money Talks. Its Different Producing Beats To Get To The Level When Ur Getting Paid Compared To Making Beats Knowing That You "will" Get Paid. It Allows You To Explore And Experiment More. Not Saying That Money Is The Only Reason Why They Were Able To Produce 4-5 A Day, But I Am Saying That If U Want Samples, If U Want Equpiment, If U Want To Clear Ur Samples; U Need Money.

we have other jobs other than producing...whether it be school...or some other kind of work...if all i had to do was make beats...60 month isnt that hard to accomplish......im not really impressed......
