Low pitched sound from Monitors

i have this low pitched sound comin from my monitor,,not a hum, but more of a beep, or signal. I checked my wires, but its ot that. But when I open a new windo,,,its stops until a window is open. It seems like any time windows starts to execute something, it stops, for a sec, then it starts. I dont get it in my headphones, only when the moniotr is on.

you been havin hella probs lately..
Ive had this happen with like a beep or somthing , my first instinct is to blame the sound card..I cant recall how it got resolved cause it didnt last long.

if u think its the card then u might try some new driver.

naw, it aint the driver or the card.,,,In my mixer headphones, I dont get that sound.

Holy shit I'm losing it. I keep reading stuff the wrong way LOL. Stress, I thought you were saying when you open your window, an ACTUAL window that the sound goes away! I thought you were just high and trippin or something. I guess I'm the one trippin.

What are your headphones hooked into? Could be a certain connection on the soundcard.

^ LOL.. I remember now I get a highpitch whine out of my moniters when I trun the pc on..
Moniters are off at the time I turn it on. Then I turn on the moniters it does it for a while.I dont know maybe its the power source.
