I know more about UK and london then you think.. Ive been to london 6 times in the past 3 years(i was in brixtion 2 weeks ago) And various other parks of the UK(leeds, Wales, Birmingham,Bath Etc..)
When i come to london i usually either stay with my boys in brixtion(mandela road) or In stonebridge...
I said all that to say this... Yes i do know ALOT about UK culture and i still think you guys are obbessed with american style vionlence espically the younger hip hop generation. I know there is some vionlence in the UK but its not nearly The level that it is here in the states. Most of the violent crime are assults becasue of liquor or drugs. The muder rate in the entire UK is about the same as one medium/small sized american city. Its nothing to brag about either..yall do a great job on managing violent crime.. we need to take notes over here....
With that being said most of the times i go to the UK i see alot of the Kids there (black & white) trying to emulate the american style "gansta" thing when its clearly a false front. I think this ties into the UK's obbession with american style violence. Everytime im there i see some type of prision of gang documentry on BBC. Some of em good, some of em wayyy off. Either way its very dominate in the UK culture. (atleast in media)
And i can tell you over here cats arent really concerend with how other people live. Americans in general are pretty ignorant and dont really care what the rest of the world does... Its sad, but true...
