For the past 2 years I've been working with logic pro 6.

It's a good program n all but I think its too complicated.

The package comes with like 13 manuals for godsake.

And the reference manual is as thick as a bible.

Plus I think it comes with a lot of features that I doubt I'll even discover let alone use.

Basiclly I think I could have saved more money, and cubase looks pretty cool.

So I did so research and found that alot of people prefer cubase over logic because it provides the same features but its simpler.

Basicly I'd like to know what you guys think I shoud do.Should I go for cubase or stay with logic pro 6?

You know logic and you'll know a lot in the end. It's not just learning logic, but you only think logic is comprehensive because you cant learn this game in 2 years unless you go for logic classes and workshops. Logic gives you indeed a shitload of options but if your knowledge isnt up to par you eventually would know just as much as SX. Their can be one argument made, that SX is much more user friendly at interfacing and acting on vst/rewire> Logic is much more aimed at the hardware users, but still offers all the same options but goes more into depth with midi parameters and applications you wont find on SX. Eventually there's no difference besides one, knowing hardware is knowing software, the advantage is knowing hardware first to understand all basics that you come across in the producing game, sofware is just the emulation of the lot. If you started out with an old logic version and some dumbass multitimbral synth you'd probably knew it by now as hardware is much more hands on. If I were you I'd stick to logic, add some good audio with I/O's and a synth or two start making trouble for yourself, its the best way to learn.
