damn .. i think lil jon makes some dope ass beats .... not all of them .. but who does??.... evrybody has there style .. some people jus make stabby choppy beats ... some people make smooth beats ..etc .. lil jon makes crunk beats thats just what he does .. cant hate em for that .. he has got some dope beats on that kings of crunk shit .. dude cant ryhme worth shit but as far as beats i think he has a considerable amount of talent ... ... .... primo, 9th wonder, neptunes, and kanye make constant use of the same drum kits as well ... alot of producers have recogonizable paterns and drumkits in there sound .. u can tell a primo beat in the first 2 seconds of the beat .. what makes lil jon diffrent??

I won't hate on Lil Jon, because I heard him workout on a regular beat anyhow I know that south shidd my Lil Brother Still in Miami and was raised there & my lil Sis but moved up here to VA too I got some people down there and thats how they do, but I think the south gets hated on a lot because people do not understand their Hip Hop and not just the music.....the whole south style and what they do, lil Jon is more versatile and he been making beats on a pro basis since like 97.....all of you new heads.....I ask you Give him his props.....nothing worse than someone that just jumped on the production or worse hip hop music bandwagon and now they experts...LOL naw JK....but on the real though...if your idea of hip hop is Shook Ones and Wu Gambinos...(like I LOVE and I think defines the music...)...you will never understand Lil Jon or any of the forms of hip hop that are on top of the charts now, the labels are living off of it...so they are supporting their habit by investing in that form of Hip Hop....I mean I never thought I would see some people in New york tryna Make some South beats ever until like the last 2 or 3 years....even though a lot of NY Artists have spit over them beats b4 that....so heres my advice, unless you understand an artform or the perspective that any artist or producer comes from it will be hard for you to criticize unless you got some plaques up on the wall.....LOL

Im not the biggest fan of lil john but I respect that he has some skills. He has his own sound,and his music is intense. HIs stuff is not meant to be just listened to, it is ment specificlly for the clubs. So i dont understand all the HATE
DJ premire has been making the same style "simple" beats for almost 15 years and most of you guys look at him as a legend. Think about it.......

I agree that "Freek-a-leek" by Petey Pablo, Yeah by Usher, and that Goodies song by Ciara are pretty much all the same beat, but realize that this is the music BUSINESS
If somebody wanted to pay you 50-70 grand for the same beat, then you would hop off that "betterment of hip hop" soapbox real quick!
Realize that hip hop is global now, people in Russia sing 50 Cent songs, my personal preference is 88-1996 hip hop, but I realize that not everybody wears hoodies and tims and likes Pete Rock--some ppl like to go to clubs and get "crunk" , and Lil Jon fulfills that need for them. Don't hate the player, hate the game.
