levels

i have a question about how to have all the songs i do to have the same levels.......................you know when buy a cd at a store all the songs are the same,no vocals on the track are louder than the others...(because when i do a song there always like one song is louder than the other) ,,,,u know vocals and etc. ...........how do i fix this,to have all my songs all on the same level............any info will help,holla@me

Ya gotta do that with a wav editor. Somethin like Acid, Audition, Soundforge,,etc,,,will do the trick.

its not that easy to get everything at the same levels like that.you should peep some of the past posts by wings about mastering and compression that should start u on the right track.i might take a while to get it down but with a lil practice u should have better results unless u got the cheese to send it to a mastering house.
