Lack of timestretch

How do you all feel about Reason's lack of timestretch? I noticed in FL6 that it's so easy to get samples to fit the tempo. It's such a hassle to worry about in Reason. Maybe I should switch to FL...

You need Recycle. You should switch to a MPC. Ive tried everything, nothing beat a mpc when it comes to the samples, Nothing.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that I do have Recycle. It doesn't really timestretch as it just sequence the chops though. There are gaps in between that need to be filled... Don't have money for an MPC.

dog.. just fuck with cool blue edit... it has a timestretch.. me personally i dont even fuck with the time stretch i think its better to just sequence your chops to where they fit.. as far as switching to fl6 its not necssary.. stick with reason and master it...

It would make things easier, but i've grown acustomed to the way i do it. and it works, so thats all that matters

Not every sample can be stretch and still sound right. keep that in mind.

Yea i never was a big fan of timestrechting, everytime i tried it it wouldnt sound right so i jus find the tempo and make it fit manually in reason, I dont find it that hard because thats the way i was taught.

i use adobe audition with reason, i edit all my samples in adobe or i did til i got my MPC !

same for me, i hate timestrecting, it takes so much out of the sample, so i just find the the tempo myself
