hey guys, im going to LA in a week, been there a couple times, but this time im gonna have a lot of free time by myself, anyone know of some shit to do ?
Im your average hiphop head, love crate diggin and smoking weed, live shows if there cheap, and art n shit

im gonna be right near venice beach, but i can bus around..
much appretiated to any suggestions

Yo if u never been to "AMEOBA" - peep that shit! - I know that theres a really large one down there in hollywood if im not mistaken and they got tons of ish, crates, etc....Dopest record store ive been to yet - Ive only been to tha one in tha bay tho....But theyre all supposed to be really good shops....I assume that tha LA store would be no exception. They got a great used section and most importantly they support cats like us tryin to come up so u should be able to find alot of good shit from tha locals there....

I got some family im goin to visit in Carmichael (near Oakland if you didnt know) this summer. Do you know any hot record shops around there?

I used to live in San Diego, and there was mad shit there but i havent had a chance to go back. Lifes A Bitch.

i bought a bunch of records from there last year, on sunset drive or someshit in hollywood

but i dont remember alot of soul or funk there..
defentily gonna peep it again tho

Ther is a Fatbeats on melrose so check that out and for night time acticvties either crusin sunset or hit up The Grand which has undergound cats runnin thru ther on occasion...if ur completly bored stroll Vience Beach
