Roland RS50 $650-750 or a used Triton you can get for below 1G....other than that head to the Guitar Center and Do a Deal with them....if you got ANY old equipment...not too old....they take trades towards a new board....Get a Fantom S....its an all in one board...

I dont think youd wanna go trade all that in after you just bought it. Your decision though.
I'd say get a sound module. An E-MU sound module. If you didn't know it, getting the sound module keeps you from paying extra money on features like a sequencer and other stuff. You dont need another sequencer, because you already got the MPC.

actually, it would be well worth your money tp spend the extra $200 on a roland xv 5050, or for the same price you can have the xv 2020. both of these are superior machines (IN MY VIEW) AND I HAVE OWNED A PROTEUS 2000, AND THE ROLAND XP 30 AND 80, so i do speak from experience.
