i am not hating. im saying kanye west sucks now and was better before people knew who he was and blew up. look at dude he is so cocky now it isnt even funny how can u respect some body with an attitude like that he is so caught up in himself he told scratch magainze that if they wanted to put his picture in it they had to pay HIM...whut the fuck is up with that, usually magainzes get PAYED by the artist to put them in cause they are promoting them. kanye west is a prime example that hip hop is all about money now. he is the Aids of hiphop and is part of the reason why everything is going down hill. what happened to back in the days when hiphop was just about gettin the crowd hype and it being fun. now its all politics and about money now that is the reason why i cant listen to kanye his beats arent even that good any more his drums sound amature compared to back in the days only hot cut on that album is WE MAJOR with nas. because he sampled the bily squire big beat drums for his drums.... hot sample btw... but chea i dont know i just respect REAL music thats all

I just heard the new album, and for the most part, it's mediocre. A couple very nice tracks, and some very lame ones. IMO, College Dropout was 10x better. Although, the track featuring Brandy called Bring Me Down, is FIRE!!! The beat is hot, Kanye's flow is sick, and the hook from Brandy is fire too! I took the liberty of writing the lyrics down lol...BTW< the track is only 1 verse, which I was pretty dissapointed about, but nevertheless, it's the best track on the CD, hands down...

I respect dudes talent and love for the old soul stuff. But Im not feelin his Rap game. Diamonds is cool but his vocals sound real present over the whole beat. I wonder how much publishing he actually takes with all the sampling. But I also know he hires people to remake stuff if he cant get cleared.

But I cant really compare it to Tony Yayo, they're 2 diffrent worlds to me.

Its a cool album to chill to though. But I like his last better.

i think its generally a good album, over half the tracks are good IMO.

Addiction is my favourite, dam spooky beat.

Yeah, that's what i said, beside Diamonds it the best beat. But that verse he took it from Consequence's album/mixtape : Take it to the cleaners, the beat is call Wack Niggas, i think it's pretty wack to take the same verse...EVENTOUGH, that verse is nice

yea i've listened to the album a couple of times now, its not amazing theres some good stuff on there, its not as good as college dropout its average, not average in the normal sense of the word but its an average product for kanye to put out i think he could have put out something much better ! ?
none of the tracks are bad its juts very few of them are actually that good, however it does grow on you as you keep listening, and i guess at least its an album rather than 4 hits with the rest filler ! whats strange is it seem he gave away some of his best beats to over people !? some good people were featured but only brandy really killed it i thought tho jays verse on diamonds is dope too !
and the other thing hes kept this theme of college with the name late registration, but then the only real reference to it woz the skit which werent that great were all basically the same and just didnt fit at all with the music on the album !
