Hes seriously got his work cut out, just as the turnout is amazing, so are the expectations.

No. I dont think, but the fact that a man like him won't let that stop him is what makes him so great. I constantly worry about his safety tho. Last time they had a man in office like this, they killed him, his brother and MLK in one quick swoop.

To expect that of anyone, especially after being left with this much destruction thanks to the last administration is naive and not logical. There may be some people out there expecting him to be a miracle worker but I believe the majority of Obama supporters are aware of the situation and understand what kinds of challenges his new administration has to face. IMO people are mainly just happy to be alive in these times and be a part of something POSITIVE for once in relation to their government.

Ive been watching the news today and when you see some of the peoples comments when interviewed they really do have some high expectations.
Its like the media are portraying him as the saviour of the world economy.
It really is a shame that he has inherited such a fucked up situation regarding the world economy.
But these problems cannot be solved by one man.
I just hope he doesnt take too much flack for the shit situation Bush and his cronies left behind.
And I hope he becomes an exception to the political rule, "If their lips move, they are lying"
It would be really good to see him acheive his promises.
But Im forever a sceptic.

I already like the way he is handling business.... I was reading about www.whitehouse.gov and this seems to be the first time (that I know of) where a president will actually keep you posted on his agenda and on whats going on. He is going to do a weekly video address which should be different....
