Can you Remix?
if you can do any of these Things it should be a Prob to come up wit something Good/ catchy.. i mean all you gotta do is Sit down.. listen to what people these days consider Catchy.. Listen to how the sounds Gel what structures there using. And start makin Kits based on what u like and what you know is hot
Take some Vocals from a Club sound ands remix it.. no i dont mean just toos you little beat over it.. i mean sit down and Build around the vocals.. and if your working with an Artist that has that mainstream or Club flo or you have it urself how can you not make a Track thats fits?
Well then again i guess it all comes down to Ear and Skill.. alot of peope dont even know to play keys chors.. basically they cant play what they hear in there head... Say a catchy Liine and make a Melody that follows its really Really that simple.. listen to how alot of these club hits come from catch sayings and catchy loops
Lil Jon for example i cant spell it but he's sampling trance and takin catch material from rraygay music and putting it in hiphop form...

it just takes time to develope your ear for that kinda music and people down the tecnique of copying people bullshit if your trying to learn somethin copy it until you understand it.. then you can put your own Twist to it
