yo what up im new im a rapper but i want to learn how to produce i have fl studio 11
with nexus as the only extra plugin what schould be my next step and how could i get good fast becouse i want to make my own beats on my own projects so that i feel like i did it not my friend or some other producer so what are tips btw my name is jwoodson

so you want some beat drills? just make beats.

but if you want a routine, try this; Set a ten minute timer and try to finish a beat in ten minutes however wack or fresh do it again and again spend just over an hour doing that.with breaks every 20 minutes or so. this builds experience and helps strengthen good workflows.
Another idea, make two beasts a day. take as long as you can afford, just make two new beats each day. if you alternate these tips weekly, and don't worry about anything, you will have great improvement in 30 days, but you will see results in a few days.

prodigies and savants aside, it's about the effort you put into it, at this stage tho, I feel you're at the take it slow and enjoy it stage. when you're ready for more, and you think you want a new DAW pick up an irl instrument.
