IllMuzik along with DJ Nice are putting together a free download promotional mixtape to help promote the IllMuzik community.

Here is what DJ Nice has said about the project (it's strictly him that is taking care of this project, so if you have any comments or questions, either post them in here or send him a PM, but only DJ Nice, not me). Thanks.

DJ Nice:

"The mixtape will feature a variety of up & coming artists and if interested members can submit full songs they have produced with artists to be considered for the mixtape (Only songs, no beats). Once completed the mixtape will be featured on IllMuzik and available for free download to everyone. The mixtape will have an IllMuzik theme with the title "ILL MUZIK" and will be put together and hosted by DJ Nice of Crack City Productions.

This is strictly for promotional use and no profit is to be made from this mixtape. It's sole intention is to promote IllMuzik.com and provide a hot compilation of tracks to enjoy. If you are interested please post up a link to a full song you have produced before 5/28/07 and they will be listened to by DJ Nice (Non-biased opinion, if it's hot it's hot, as a DJ he bases his opinions off what would appeal to the listener)."

Im down .... We post in this thread? ... yo im cool wit the deadline but for some people it might be too short notice... esp with memorial day weekend and shit people are on vacation and might not see the thread.. u might wanna extend it to the following week

Yes you can drop links to your tracks here in this thread ... I find it easier to greab all the links by just scrolling down posts than geting tons of PM's and Emails to sort thru.

Please only songs in english ... I don't mean to exclude anyone but tapes with mixed languages seem to throw people off especially if majority is english usually the non-english tracks will get skipped over. I know the deadline is kinda short but I wanted to wrap the tape up in a short amount of time ... If you have completed tracks (Songs, not instrumentals) feel free to submit, if not don't break your head over trying to get a new track in by the deadline.

Also thanks to Fade for allowing this to take place ... I am sure it will do well, represent IllMuzik, and help bring more attention to an already popular and and tight website for producers. Glad to be a part of the Illmuzik comminity !

we need mixes like that in the industry but this muthafuuckaz dont understand.they love thos squashed blocklooking square waves lol.
