i think the showcase system and battle system for people to show their work is what has kept the community going. It promotes feedback instead of having a loads of random posts in a long list where nobody gets heard and nobody is encouraged to listen to each others work. Personally I find the competition here the best thing to drive me to just keep getting better at my craft, Im still having huge breakthroughs all the time with my understanding of the finer details of music and making beats and you guys really push me to go beyond myself every time we battle. I owe this place so much, it aint even funny.
