Dope beat no doubt, grimey ass drums. But it's sad cuz iv'e heard some equal if not better quality beats from a select few users on illmuzik that don't get any exposure like this at all, You mofos need to make moves!!!! lol
A great example of repetetive dopeness. Its tracks like this that keep reminding me that a track doesnt need to go off in ten different directions to be hot, even the most basic of loops if ill enough work all the way through a track. Good post.
^^^^Yeah I hear ya. Personally I dont like tracks that progress until the end. Simple is better for emcees to rip. I would love to hear someone on this track. I hope someone kills this beat.

maybe we should take fortune into our hands and come up with an "illmuzik collective" sampler on a regular basis then...could be mp3 with covers for print only....
fuck the crowd, the beat is hot! And honestly crowds react differently depending on where you go. I am sure every show in flensburg is off the charts...............
I think each beat has something it relies on. If it has a main element in it that drives the beat, it's best to accent it. Illmind did it flawlessly by taking the bassline out at the end of the bars to build momentum, then it drops back in and that's that roller coaster feeling.
well executed drops can make a seemingly simple loop sound live and exciting to listen to.
