I like Premo but in my opinion I think NaS should have some tracks with Pete Rock and The Alchemist as well. That would make a hot NaS album Premo, Pete Rock and The Alchemist. Expensive as hell sample wise tryin to get them cleared, but hot.

How come everyone fail to mention Large Professor when they talk about making a classic Nas album??

If Large Pro does half of the tracks it'll def. be dope.

I agree. He needs Premier, Large Pro, and Pete Rock. But the other main thing is that he needs to cut out the bullshit and stop rapping about whatever it is he raps about today. Go back to the way he used to do it.

yea this is what i've been saying i really can't see an entirely premier album working ! it will be different if large pro, pete rock, etc join in aswell ! otherwise it will be a gangstarr album but with nas replacing guru !

I dont know why cats always want more than one producer on albums nowadays. Almost all of the greatest Hip Hop albums have consisted of only one producer. Shit dont sound consistent with more that one producer and vision.

I think Primo gone do some other shit on this album. This is his welcome back to the new generation of Hip Hop.

A Large Pro & Nas album to me would be better cuz as much as I love Primo, his shit can get old after after a while.

^ Not entierly true. But it often was from the same "crew". The same circle of people.

But they didn't have A&R's picking beats, from east, south, west and mixing them up into, whatever is the best word for utter garbage....like the do nowadays.

Anyway, I hate the fact that people seem to forget that DJ Premier only produced three tracks on Illmatic but at the same time they kinda give him credit for the whole album(proof: this thread).

Get off his dick.

yea thats part of my point is that illmatic wouldnt have been illmatic without large pro, q-tip pete rock so i dnt see why he should not include them this time round !
