RS Jedi
ill o.g.
Battle Points: 1
seen this somewhere, dont know where... figured I'd start it here.
i wouldnt buy:
Yamaha QX21 2trk sequencer: terrible investment
Vestafire 4 trk cassette recorder: fake Portastudio
Yamaha SY 35 synth: a good synth no doubt, but i shouldve waited and bought the Roland XP50/80 workstation
Boss DR220e: yep, i shouldve just saved my money
Yamaha MD8, 8 trk minidisc recorder: another machine with no lifespan
Yamaha SU700: if i wouldve known the RS7000 was comin, i wouldve scrapped EVERYTHING...lol
also, the Philips and Sony 5 tray CD recorders: one (Philips) cant read all cd formats, while the other (Sony) gives u so little for a bigger price (no FF or RW...wtf???!!!)
Now, the machines that held me down chronologically over the years:
Casio CZ101 synth: still got it... will never give it up.
Casio RZ1 Drum machine: it introduced me to drum samplin... got smashed under the bed a few yrs back, while i was "smashin" on tha bed...lol... sad loss.
Alesis MMT8 8 trk sequencer... still got trx on it that need to be midi recorded over to the RS.
Alesis SR16 Drum machine: one of the best soundin drums in the business, and the cheapest rite now.
Akai S950: LEGENDARY!
And obviously what i have now:
RS7000
Korg ER1
Nord Lead2
Alesis Fusion
Korg D16XD
and my new baby: Tascam CDRW402 Dual tray recorder "PROFESSIONAL" as it states on the front!
damn... took me 20 yrs to be happy and satisfied...lol
