I turned "KOODA by 6ix9ine" into a old school beat out of boredom

Only thing I would take away is that deep snorting bass sound and replace it with a proper bass line.
Damn, thats the part i love most . BassBoosted the drums just to get that out of them. :ROFLMAO:

Its in the combination with drums and bassline, i have a proper bassline in the beat but i just changed it to be that bss you dont like. :ROFLMAO:

Dope! Only thing I would take away is that deep snorting bass sound and replace it with a proper bass line. Is it in the drum loop?
For the mixing part, i'd center the piano a little bit to get it closer to the drums. Maybe use a compressor on the master bus to flavour / glue everything together?
Nothing here yet.

Do you notice changes? Put a compressor on it, tweaked the piano a bit with sliiiiiiiiightly more reverb on it and turned down 10Khz sliiightly.
And tried to bring the piano together with the drums.

I haven’t listened to it yet but well done for taking criticism / advice and altering the beat. That’s what I said I’m going to do with my last beat, when I get round to it. Nice one brother

v1. The drums seem slightly disjointed, the snares feel a little late, I agree about that bass, personally Id filter that out and replace it like TWU suggested. The snare roll that you added in there is a little loud too. I like the way the beat is structured, it stays interesting throughout. I agree pretty much with TWU on that one.
v2 sounds worse IMO, now the snare roll really stands out. If mixed right this would be dope asf. Really like the atmosphere of it.

Thanks.

Bass is not up for discussion, I LOVE IT. xd

But ill take a look at the rest, wasnt at my comp the whole day.

I think vocals can get more out of the beat.

@DPrezd Beggar Very nice beat brother. I really enjoyed all the way through. I really liked the sound selection of the drums, and the arrangement is sick dude. 2 criticisms:

1. I feel like there are some timing issues on the drums, I imagine you used a drum break, I would take that thing and play it with a metronome and make sure everything is hitting on time.

2. I feel like the main piano melody is cool, but the instrument for it feels a little flat/stock, maybe process/filter it to sound more interesting.

Good stuff brother
