How do I make different kinds of Bass? I want to be able to drop it when and where needed, and to be able to modify it. But I have no idea how to get this sound.

and to be able to modify it Learn the basic.. if u had gotten the basics downt this would not be a problem for you..

EQ, compression. the two biggies

jus use ur samplers effects to try and bring the bass up. there are also many bass plug-ins (vst etc.) which help to give ur bass depth. i havent experimented with a lot of these but ever since ive used the Waves plug-ins (e.g. Maxxxbass) i havent used anything else. dnt kno if that really helps..?
