LOL cheers class well it arrived this morning and i gotta say im not dissapointed ! This thing is wild, just being able to hit a pad and a sound comes out is dope you can feel the drums and i would say a sure fire way to improve your drums is with something like this, something you do manually, its so much more real and just plain easier to do decent patterns etc plus i can thump it out my decent speakers thru all my DJing stuff !
It is really complex imo and will take getting used to but it gets a definate thumbs up so far, really nice and easy to record samples tho i only got a 16mb card at the mo, i'll have to get a bigger one asap ! Editing seems to be a pain in the ass so far but i'll get used to it !

Yea man it is wonderful, ITs flexable to. The MPC 2000xl is the centerpice of my studio(sequancer is the same as the 1000). THe sequancer is where the MPC really shines. Rock solid and easy to use. Just MIDI up your hardware (or software) to it.

Did you get the 128MB memory upgrade with it? Also what's all this talk about the cig lighter thing. This thing runs off the same power cord as your computer. At least mine does. I haven't seen one of those yet. anybody got a link to a pic? Out
