man this topic is gettin old. the truth is lyrics dont sell records. hot beats do. you could be the wackest out there but if you get on a beat that makes the girls shake their booty then your good. wayne just happened to have a few decent beats attached to his name and he became the next hot producer. dont believe me. all you gotta do is go back and really listen. not just listen but put the lyrics into context.

Tone...Eminem sold more records than anybody last decade...Jay got more number one albums than Elvis bro, lyrics sell and they also equal longevity. Maybe the super need a decoder ring to crack these metaphors lyrics that were common place in the 90s dont sell that well anymore but wayne isnt soilder boy...his fans love what he says...his beats aint even really all that.
