I can't believe you fell for that, you bit hook, line and sinker...lol. That just proves my point, everybody knows Maschine wasn't what it is today. It's had numerous updates to improve it...hahaha YOU GOT NOTHING!
That's the best thing about having software...You can't improve your MV you use FL studio and it's at version 10....SO they've had AT LEAST 9 times to make improvements.
FL wasn't what it was @ version 1.. It didn't even have VST support then.
It's not falling for it at all...it's looking at a product and recognizing that it is what you're looking for.... It's everything I wanted....an MPC with software.....that's extremely easy to use.
I bought a pad controller for FL....big mistake....Not the same......I didn't have money for an MPC 2000....And then I realized that I'd be confined to using the MPC.....and incorporating it with Reason....Which isn't something that I wanted to do...
Maschine was just the right choice for me.....and it's because of the hype that I looked into it.. After doing my research and playing around with Maschine, I realized that's exactly what I wanted....
You have something against getting the "latest craze" I'm sure no one would know about the MV if Rza didn't say it was his weapon of choice....the MV will always be that and nothing more...there's no updates for it to make it that much more effective.....
Sounds like you're too much of a purist in that aspect....The dude that would rather carry 10 crates of records and tables with mixer than get Serato/Traktor. (just an example, I know you have cd turns)
It's not like the people who own Maschine in this forum made acouple beats and put it on the shelf....Iknow for a fact we are using it to make every beat.....and anyone here can attest to the power of Maschine.
You could do a ton more with Maschine than you can with your MV...and faster I'm sure....Plus I could take it anywhere and put it in my laptop bag.....
And you could pretty much use FL to do the same things as Maschine........but try running some VST in both and see which one can hold more resources...... I couldn't run more than a few instruments of Nexus without having to adjust the buffer...I've YET to do that with Maschine and I run all kinds of Kontakt instruments that require many resources........
Oh and try rewiring FL with PT.... what a joke.
NI makes an update and it's free...then they give you free instruments which actually cost money, for free......and are useful...FL stock VST is horrible.....NI has their own instruments at their disposal which FL does not.
