How do yall match tempos when you get an accapella of another singer, rapper, or artists song and what should i use to do it i've been trying for so long on sound forge butit's a lost cause with all that. Reason why i ask is because i got the new black album acappella CD and i want to remix his whole cd i'd apreciate yall hit ya boy up and tell me what you think of my beats

You can download small bpm counter programs off the net. If you download one of these programs, they can tell you the bpm.
Also, you can just cut up 8 bars or so of the original Jay-Z song you want to remix, put it next to your beat and adjust the tempo of your beat untuil their match, then remove the original Jay-Z song and add the acapella instead...there's so many way, let me know what program(s) are you using? You need to give more details for me/us to help you in regards to your specific situation.

I use Acid 4.0 to remix acapellas with beats. Its so easy 'cause Acid automatically changes both tracks to what ever tempo you want. But if you want to remix someone singing instead of rapping its alot harder 'cause you might have to re-tune the beat or singer.

Well, if you only use SoundForge, which is only a sound editor, then I am not sure how to help you. I am not sure that Soundforge can alter the BPM, other than pitch shift and as far as i know, you can't mix both in that program.

As medicine man already wrote, Acid is probably your best bet if you can get a hold of that program. It's very easy to use.
