Okay I am having a ton of problems with Fruity Loops. I first started using it and really liked it because it allowed me to do everything and as a new bee there is nothing worse than having a program you don’t know where the Fuck to begin.
Anyways last night I tried cutting up a sample piano loop into individual keys and load it up into Fruity Loops via Cool Edit to create a melody. The first two keys worked and then the third and fourth were silent. I redid it in Cool Edit a thousand times and resaved it under different names and still Fruity Loops didn’t recognize it or play the key. And even had some parameter error a few times I ried. I tried debugging Fruity but to no avail
All in all Fruity Loops has been good to me because it’s easy to use and allows you to do everything but I am looking to get another software program that is just as easy to use and is more reliable. A few of my beats in Fruity Loops are corrupted for whatever reason and I can’t afford to have an unreliable program such as Fruity.
Some I can’t even export for unknown reasons.
I know a lot of cats out there use Reason, Cubase, Acid and a host of other programs. So right now for my needs I need something as easy to use as Fruity but more reliable, can hook up to my Oxygen 8, and has a beat slicer program I can access.
Right now I am stuck with the demo version of the beat slicer and it won’t let me save. And I am really not interested in figuring out how to get the full version of that.
So anyone who can easily explain/persuade why their program beats Fruity Loops as far as reliability and functionality please step up. Because when I get off work and that piano key doesn’t play I am going to seriously hurt someone and it might be you or myself!!!. Thanks in advance.
pun intended....
