Greetings Folks,

How's it going? What's good?

I got a new job the other day - a reception clerk @ a 4-star hotel: http://www.rimonim.com/Hotel.aspx?Lang=eng&Hotel=79

Enough with all the security-related work, all's well that ends well :)

Anyway, this is the perfect work to continue my spiritually-oriented psychological\psychoanalytical research.
Briefly-expressed, humans are disappointing. Shallow, superficial, serpent, egoistical, bad-tempered & hotheaded - in one word: RIFFRAFF.

Unfortunately, People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it’s true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People's heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true. People are stupid; they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so are all easier to fool.

My DEAR friends, it's always the best to remain a simple, humble & kind person and to stay out of the SYSTEM as much as possible. Remember, 'Dust you are and to dust you shall return'. Rarely can a human truly transcend this state. Most humans are bound to roll their entire miserable lives within a known in advance VICIOUS CIRCLE. You can escape by either experiencing otherworldly suffering and\or by undergoing a profound (by lack of better words) spiritual enlightenment...

Each of one you is truly unique. Each one of you (well, almost...) has escaped the neverending cycle aforementioned. Don't stray, keep up the INCREDIBLE existence of your SELF. 'Liberate your mind' is what I proclaim. Timeless spiritual truth is about the existence of GOD in man! You must first confront the Dark in order to be lead into the Light... I will never sleep through your darkest hour my dear friends!

Please keep in mind:
A. Passion rules reason.
B. There is magic in forgiveness. Magic to heal. In forgiveness you grant, and more so in the forgiveness you receive. Note: The forgiveness must be sincere.
C. Mind what people do, not only what they say, for deeds will betray a lie.
D. The only sovereign you can allow to rule is reason. It is not only the most important rule, but the simplest. Nonetheless, it is the one most often ignored and violated, and by far the most despised. It must be wielded in spite of the ceaseless, howling protests on the wicked.
E. Life is the future, not the past. The past can teach us, through experience, how to accomplish things in the future, comfort us with cherished memories, and provide the foundation of what has already been accomplished. But only the future holds life. To live in the past is to embrace what is dead. To live life to its fullest, each day must be created anew. As rational, thinking beings we must use our intellect, not a blind devotion to what has come before, to make rational choices.
F. The greatest harm can result from the best intentions. It sounds a paradox, but kindness and good intentions can be an insidious path to destruction. Sometimes doing what seems right is wrong, and can cause harm. The only counter to it is knowledge, wisdom, forethought, and understanding the First Rule. Even then, that is not always enough.

Holla @ ya boy folks, I'm at your service, ONE LOVE FAM! :thumb:

Wings

"Siddhartha listened. He was now listening intently, completely absorbed, quite empty, taking in everything. He felt that he had now completely learned the art of listening. He had often heard all this before, all these numerous voices in the river, but today they sounded different. He could no longer distinguish the different voices--the merry voice from the weeping voice, the childish voice from the manly voice. They all belonged to each other: the lament of those who yearn, the laughter of the wise, the cry of indignation and the groan of the dying. They were all interwoven and interlocked, entwined in a thousand ways. And all the voices, all the goals, all the yearnings, all the sorrows, all the pleasures, all the good and evil, all of them together was the world. All of them together was the stream of events, the music of life. When Siddhartha listened attentively to this river, to this song of a thousand voices; when he did not bind his soul to any one particular voice and absorb it in his Self, but heard them all, the whole, the unity; then the great song of a thousand voices consisted of one word: Om - perfection."

Thankfully like most every post you drop old friend, the words are only tools to describe the kind of truth that describes truths that I have either discovered about myself or am to discover yet into my life (future). The begining about how people are riffraff is important to me because I am surrounded, related, and even living with them. I infact do not know anyone who is not riffraff, except one girl who visited my town last week (whom i grew up with as close friends, and her visit very much changed my entire state of mind and i realized that I must use my schooling to move around the world). But for someone like me who is temporarily trapped within riffraff I have came to rely on myself and founda new appreciation for my own self. From that self-realization my love for everything, mostly non-human specie including plantlife (all life even the forces of nature such as gravity and mass), has grown with my appreciation to be in a position to observe and the chance to respect it. Today a guy I worked with commented that a moth was swimming in a pale of water and i immediatly scooped it out. He said, "Michael you are such the humanitarian" and laughed but I couldn't help but wonder how he could have not helped it. The moth was actually shivering as I walked it out of the door and to a bush close by. As was alking outside toward the bush it quit shivering and as I was putting it on the bush it flew away :).

Wings I have great love for you and everyone else who matures into this state of appreciation. It is so sad, like you said, that so many have their head so full of knowledge but most of it is false, yet they believe it truely.

I again find myself in a state of appreciation by you and how much I can learn, also verifing my own truths, from within each post like this that you apply. Sometimes reading your perspective is like me reflecting unto myself (in my mind) like i do throughout the day, only your posts are from you and you have learned many things that I am still traveling too or understanding now. Thank you and thank you

THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH: What's Wrong with Being Human? (*WARNING: DEPRESSING!!!*)

What's Wrong with Being Human?

A Report on the State of Being Human in this Age

THE HUMAN BODY

Human bodies are a terrible heavy burden and are cumbersome and yet very fragile.

Human bodies require a lot of constant maintenance. Humans are burdened with needing to eat, sleep, eliminate wastes, clean, and constantly struggle daily to survive.

When humans (or animals) are damaged or deformed, it is (almost always) permanent and lifelong, and nothing can be done to restore them. Human beings age and as they age, their bodies, minds, and lives decay.

(Almost) everything in this world causes pain or discomfort or harm to the human body. There is a constant struggle against exhaustion. Every movement has a price. Females are prone to being irrational, overly emotional, silly, and scatter-brained; while males are prone to being aggressive, impersonal, insensitive, and defensive about their masculinity. Both are shallow in their own way. Neither gender wants to admit to their flaws and they are each hostile towards the other and cannot understand the other.

THE FALLEN WORLD
Everything in earthly creation is so prone to permanent damage or harm. All earthly creatures hurt, kill, and eat each other.

Everything in the world requires constant maintenance by human beings.

Everything in this world is a frustration and a struggle.

Everything in the earthly creation decays over time.

Nothing is ever perfect, nothing is ever good enough, nothing is ever the way you want it to be.

HUMAN PSYCHOLOGY & SOCIETY

Humans are all in competition against each other.

Humans cannot understand each other and don't seek to.

Humans are in constant conflict and alienation with each other.

Humans want always to be in control of everything.

Humans are very stubborn and careless about their safety.

Human beings are becoming more and more disorganized.

Humans are becoming more and more chaotic.

Humans need constant change because they can never reach satisfaction with anything.

Humans are becoming more and more scatter-brained and absent-minded in daily life.

Humans engage in meaningless babble conversations for the sake of a ritualistic fake courtesy.

It's very hard for humans to believe and understand spiritual things they can't see.
Humans don't believe anything unless they have experienced it or witnessed it.

Human beings are like helpless children, lost and confused, without guidance.

Humans need an authority to give them rules and tell them what to think and do.

Humans have a deliberate apathy, indifference, sloppiness, laziness, stupidity, and carelessness and it is increasing over time.

Humans don't care much about truth or accuracy. They learn a little about a lot and know nothing.

Humans are irrationally emotional and prone to hysteria. They prefer feelings over facts.

Though they are taught knowledge, humans don't seem to grow or become wiser from it.
They don't apply it and it doesn't impact them significantly.

When humans observe suffering, they become self-absorbed, judgmental, insensitive, and hardened. When they experience it themselves, they become selfless, wise, sensitive, and compassionate.

Wisdom and maturity are gained more by internal, unusual, unseen suffering than by external, common, obvious suffering.

Human immaturity is mostly caused by inexperience with suffering and ignorance about suffering.

Humans only care about what is of personal interest to them and the rest they disregard.

Humans have become zombies in this age, in a permanent state of mindlessness.

Humans in this age suffer from a constant burnout and over-stimulation fatigue, yet to try to counteract it, they keep stimulating themselves more and more.

Society is on the verge of collapsing due to the modern human way of life that they call "progress" in which they create an unnatural environment and way of life.

Humans are arrogant in their opinions and ignorance, always believing they have the authority and knowledge and wisdom to judge and refusing to believe they are wrong.

Humans are egocentric - each one thinks he is the center of existence.

Humans are always focused on themselves and think that God is only concerned about them.

They are always making assumptions instead of seeking the truth or admitting that they don't have access to that information.

They base their beliefs on their own personal experiences and judge everything, including other people according to them. They think in extremes, in black and white terms, and they assume everyone is the same and can be categorized and labeled.

Humans don't even seem to notice their own apathy and rude behavior or the miserable state of their world.

Humans are very arrogant about being human. They think they are the greatest creation and that God only cares about them and that everything He does revolves around them.

They absurdly cannot see that they are animals and many believe that lower animals don't have souls. They believe that angels were made to take care of them and adore them, and
that everything was made just for them, and that they will eventually be higher than angels in status.

Humans seem to be getting better at things requiring speed, endurance, and strength, but worse at things requiring precision, organization, concentration, and intelligence.
Intelligence for humans has become a matter of memory, studying, and
learning facts and figures, instead of real intelligence which is perceptiveness, sensitivity, mindfulness, being acutely aware, having understanding and motivation to understand, discernment, wisdom, analysis, and depth of thought.

This generation is a distrustful, cynical generation, unbelieving in their futile thinking.

So many humans try to deceive others or spread their own deceived state that as a result, humans can't see who to believe and so believe no one except certain authority figures they have put their trust in, such as church leaders and other people with such status.

Humans seem to be uncoordinated with each other and they always clash with each other and get in each other's way.

Though they have a freewill, humans always seem to be controlled by their animal instincts and emotions, such as procreation.

Humans are conformists like sheep and irrational.

Humans become easily distracted and confused.

Humans are quick to criticize, punish, and devalue, and slow to encourage, reward, and esteem.

Humans are reckless and irresponsible. They seek quick fixes and don't think ahead about long-term consequences. It's a miracle humans survive each day.

It is the person who causes harm that has all the rights, and the person who is harmed has none to protect himself from being harmed.

Humans believe that to limit the one causing the harm would be infringing on his rights concerning what he is allowed to do.

Human emotions change one's state of mind, which is very disturbing, because it is like being different people with different thoughts and a different outlook at different times, depending on these volatile emotions.

They think stimulants make them function better when really it causes them to be distracted, careless, sloppy, mindless, burnt-out, and lacking in attention, and increases their stupidity, and then it is very difficult to deal with them intelligently.

Instead of dividing up jobs according to abilities and giving jobs to those most suited for each one, humans, like a disorganized mob, all want to do the same thing, and all want to do what other people are doing, creating havoc and a degraded quality of society.

Humans seek quantity of life on this Earth rather than quality.

Humans don't seem to be capable of much real love and devotion and thus they are not very capable of having lasting, meaningful relationships.

Humans are selfish and ungrateful and unappreciative. They take everything they have for granted and they have only a very limited ability to care about and empathize with others. They are quick to abandon loved ones when their limitations are surpassed.

Humans have a very bleak, shallow view of relationships, thinking of them as temporary and replaceable, casual interactions. Humans are untrustworthy, changeable, unreliable, undependable, and disloyal.

The identities of humans keep changing throughout their lives and stages of growth. Do they even have any constant true self?

Humans seem determined to pair off for no reason, yet their marriages are meaningless and shallow, and their spouses are seemingly randomly chosen and practically interchangeable. They are like strangers living together, yet in different worlds. And because humans are always changing, spouses grow apart.

It's lonely being human. It's more lonely being an angelic being trapped in the human world.

When humans can't handle reality, they deny it, and can no longer even see it. They call this a "coping mechanism". We call this "crazy". They think that is normal and even healthy and they think that sanity is crazy.

The worst thing about being human is never being able to really completely understand another human being and his perspective and experience.

Great Friend, I did not find this depressing at all but instead very inspiring to know that there are people, humans, out there that see, feel, and understand this. The sentences were very informative for much of it was things I knew from experiences in my life, which were difficult lessons, but when reading it I was shown that these were concrete lessons that I learned containing truth and freedom! You are truely a gift My Dear Friend,
Thank You

Good post very insightful of us as a species. But not everybody is like that, it contains many sweeping assumptions. I can say for myself that I dont fall into a lot of those categories, Im nothing special, so must be many others like myself. Yes the world is pretty messed up right about now, mainly because its the the people with power that let civilization decline into destruction because they make a profit while it all happens. Power corrupts most definity.
Generally people are good honest people just trying to struggle their own way through life.
Constantly distracted with bills that need to be paid, ever increasing taxation. We live in the consumer age, everything has a price. Why do you think bling was ever made a pop thing?
The family unit has been eroded away, with kids seeing gangs as being there family. Religion has been eroded away at, im not practicing any religion except a belief in a 1 god that created the universe, although I do beleive in the morals of the ten commandments. Good advice regardless af anything religious. With the fall of religion so we see the fall of a good moral society. There was a time not too long ago when sex before marriage was frowned upon, let alone single parents. Now we have Gay marriages, for which it would be illegal for me to call a sin, as the bible states it is. Its through the media of many forms that has moulded us into what we have become, a media funded by big business. It is whats good for big business that guides this world, not us little people that generally want the world to be a nicer place. Would help an injured animal, or an old person in need of help. The true evil of this world is the minority, and you only need to look at whos running your country, whatever country that may be, to find that evil. <<<MY SWEEPING ASSUMPTION
Im not an anarchist, I dont wish death upon anybody. But I do know that power corrupts and that some people are weakminded and so are taken advantage of by the same evil controllers. Ignorance creates a weak mind, but a weakmind can be cured with knowledge. Get a shield from the bullshit thats fed to us in the media daily, read factual books, learn the history of your ancestors and learn the mistakes of the past. Learn about why the news is filled with celebrity worship, and why certain types of news get lots of attention, when other news which is normally the most important barely sees the light of day. Ignorance isnt really an option at this point in time, the end game is now.
Im not about to tell you what the truth of the world is, or what its all about. Thats for you to find out. Im not an educator, I make music get stoned and I have my own ideas of the universe. I was once ignorant, now Im not so. I read and learned, the internet is the best place to learn. Nowhere else is speech free like it is on the net. For now anyway. So no time to waste, before the police state shuts it down, get armed and study.
