works fine for me. I only use it to make acidized waves of my samples though. Haven't really dug into it's new features because I don't use it like that!
I disliked it at first, but that was mainly because I'd been used to the layout of Acid Pro 5/6 over the past 4+ years - so just needed to adjust to the new changes. I find it now though to be much better on my workflow with the new mixing console.
It also seems to be more stable than the previous version while using a Quad setup which helps alot, not had any problems with it yet.
The timing is going to be different for each person as expected on how well they know the DAW. As I've been using Acid Pro now for almost 5 years, it only took me about 2-3 days to be fine with everything - about 8 hours in total for the testing sessions.
