sounds... the main reason i use knob twisting machines is to make new sounds that the public havent heard yet... one of the reasons why the Neptunes and Timbo became who they were... also its a main ingredient of why Drake is so popular... everyone havin the Korg Triton and using the same preset sounds, is the main reason that the Triton stopped bein used... gear lust, and bein perfectionists are also problems we as producers have.. we've all spoke about each section of this vid at one point or another on this site, and many other sites. good post nonetheless.. im gonna send it to a few friends.. sometimes we need to hear it from someone else other than us!

I have to agree with Fade, its pretty much common sense, I would like to see the rest of the presentation before casting final judgement.
He makes a few good points like ease of workflow and good preparation, and clear mind and some others I disagree with, like the keeping of a journal.
The best part I gleaned from the video is....
When creating music, avoid distractions that can interfere with concentration,
try not to over produce music, take it one step at a time. Work hard to push yourself, no one is really going to do it for you.
And yes mistakes can be your biggest learning moments.
