the first person I thought of when I saw this video was you lmao.Haha if only the people here were doing it subconsciously
I thought it was "On Topic" lmao
at the same time that this is a lifesaver, my problem still stands because the thing is, almost every song I wanna write and keyword write, songs by some OGs start playin in my head that have the same vibe and my songwriting starts to shift into a rehearsal session of some random assholes track from the 00s. still helps a lot tho.
also another problem is that the rather youthful ideas I had for music were all "1654" "1456" "1546" generic bittersweet stuff that mostly started with a guitar, so for instance yesterday I was playin round with my guitar on this 1 track I been workin on for so long, and my head just starts playing "I gotta feeling" instead which not only has the same idea and chord progression, it's much better than my song too lol
