If your going to make beats and think your going to make beats all your life go with something expensive like an MPC or ASR-x
because some day you know your going to want something better than what you have. A lot of studios have mpcs anyways so just going all out.

jus sum advice ,you dont necceserily need expensive equipment to make paht beats,all you need is creativity. i use a yahama keyboard ran me 300 bucks and a zoom rythym track drum machine i got for 125bucks off ebay which is a steal and i make sum phat joints,so put your mind to work and use what u can afford,save your loot ,and buy bigger and better toys

inexpensive and unprofessional 350 bucks, pro gear like mpc 1400 bucks or ebay for 700......probably worth checkin into
