How Many Records you got?

Try to make a real good estimate. Maybe you got 30 per crate, and you got 5 crates. Do the math and shit. Imjust curious, wanna get an idea of what some of yall are workin with.



I just made a rough count and i got about 280. I need more crates. I only got 5 crates, so I got about 100 records layed out in different pplaces across my house.

I've been a DJ for a good while. I could'nt even begin to count all that ish. I'm just looking at what is up here with me and it looks like at least about 500 cuts. Plus I got about 30 crates in the cellar. I'm addin' to that number all the time. I'm also holding at least 1000 to 1500 cd's.

I have approx. 200 -300 records and about 200 or so cd's. I had a helleva lot more but over the years I let my homie who is still DJing use them and he let someone esle use them and ....... you know how it goes. I had alot of early Hip Hop 12 inches and albums.

I got four 5-tier bookshelves that hold roughly 200 LPs per shelf, and 1/2 milk crate of 45's. Three of the bookshelves are full and 2 shelves of the last bookshelf are full.

I got about 400 records, started getting them before i could sample them, just gettin ready for when i got my mpc, probably 50 of them are hip hop, and the rest are all older records with diff genres. Got hit up retirement neighborhoods, and offer to pay some money for them, and they usually will give them to you for free.

hell yea thats what i am doin i got all my grand parents records and i will say thats a crate of all 60's and 70's soul music and some jazz i say a crate will keep me busy while i learn how to sample.

i can fit 65-70 records in one crate and i have (no lie) 85 crates of records spread across my basement and my room.

I got about 300 and building. I get most on ebay in lots. Once got like 80 records for $40. And got some good shit out of it.

I got close to 900 records and about 500 or so CDs. I used to have all my records in crates but now I keep them in a floor to ceiling shelving case. Much easier for storage.
