How many of you dl midi files to see the notes of a beat??

It's really nice, when you put a midi through Reason, Cubase, you get to see the midi track by track with all the notes. So i'm dl them and learning how to play some of my songs. Like recently i learned, The Way I am, We Belong Together, Cry me a River, Candy Shop, Just a lil Bit, Still Dre. That really got me into playing the piano, it's a good exercise for my coordination, i get to see what scales are used and learn new chord. I also notice that now i can come up with melodie a little faster.

I personally dont i like to figure it out on my own..whatever works tho ya know

I have....sometimes to figure out chords....I use band in a box...but cubase has the capability too I believe.......you would be surprised at what songs are out there that can help with chords besides using your ear...
