How fast can you make a beat? What's your personal record?

I'm the same way. I'll take about an hour, cutting up some sample like a mad scientist, thinking it's the best melody ever. Then a few hours later I listen to it and it's meh.

Thats so true, Ive lost count of the number of times Ive been working on a track for hours, think its an absolute banger, then come to hear it the next day and it sounds like total shit.

At one point I was making beats “under the influence”...everything sounds good when I’m in that state...until you wake up and listen the next morning.

i have always found music to be a good conduit to release emotions Im having trouble dealing with
