how do u choose ua instruments?

I usually have somethin in mind, like if I got a melody in my head then I kno what typa instrument i wanna use for that particular melody and then I build on from there, I'm im sampling then I experiment and see what instruments might go with that sample, it all depends

usually its all in the head, but sometimes ill be browsing through sounds, and ill come across something i wasnt planning on using and bamn, its sounds heavy.

okey for me i just pick on bass,piano,some pad and then add some guiter or flute basically
