how do I hook up my technics SL 5300?? to my comp

look I have a technics SL 5300 that I got from a yardsale for $3.00
but it dosent have a head.
can I get a head for it or do they not make heads for these any more
and how do I get the music from the turn table into my comp?? cool edit??
well help me out on what I gotta get cut theres a kick drum thats on an old James Brown albulm I want!!!!!!

What do you mean by it doesnt have a head?

To hook up a turntable to your pc, the tt's phono leads need to go either through a mixer of a phono pre-amp. You could always plug it straight into your soundcard if it has phono inputs but the signal would be too low.

Once you've got it connected yes you can use any wave editor such as cool edit etc..
