How can i stop Cool Edit from making .pk files?

i dont know, i was annoyed by that when i opend wavs on desktop but it's cool cuz they open extreamly fast with the .pk written.

depends how fast yor computer is.
them PKz are just annoying, clustering up folders. actualy... is there a way of setting your computer in a way that automaticaly hides all pk files once created?
