Well if you ask me there was no Way that he could have had like 3.5million popular voting margin...Bush is up to something...I have never seen a cocky and arrogant person like this on a position of power....it's like he is a dictator....also some people told me that on their screen you could go back and review...but if you just clicked yes and click finish voting to soon she noticed that instead of her vote going for Kerry/Edwards it was highlighted Bush/Cheney....if she was in a hurry becuz you know touch screens you want to finish quick so you might not notice it...and then vote...your vote would have gone to the wrong person

I only hope more surface and the whole shit is re-done. I think at least 75% of Europe were cheering for Kerry. Looking at the whole ordeal from a bird's eye view, it has been clear to most Europeans that Kerry is the better choice for both America and the world in general.
I do not hope that Bush's victory leads him to think that it's because of how he has done his politics so far and therefore carries on to do so without change.
I truly fear what that moron is up to next.

This is sum bullshit man, this is exactly why i didn't bother voting either. They won't redo the election even if it all was a sham. Bush is there to stay, then whoever HE CHOOSES will probably be our next President. It's all fucked up.

I think that our vote really does mean something, but there are loop-holes in tha system nowadays that are getting worse and need to be done with for good - like tha electoral college for example....What kinda heap a bullshit is that fucking thing?!
Also, the unfortunate reality about our votes being counted or not isnt the real problem here i think.....I think what it really is (and this was to my suprise as well, since i never really bothered to think about it) - is that America really is full of a bunch of stupid people that dont kno what tha hell is up, or what their even voting for, for that matter....And most of all: Dont seem to really apreciate how much freedom we really have! - People jus dont bother to think about it. Yes. Some do...But too many people dissmiss tha amount of influence we have in numbers. Its jus that people are stupid apparently and were surrounded my brain-washed zombies that hear something in one ear and then out tha other. And what about tha YOUTH!?!??.....Tha fucking voter turnout for tha youth votes was dam near tha same! - Hmmmmmm???......Seem to picular to anyone? Im really suprised that it was about tha same as tha last four years ago election. Honestly, we should have had waaaaay more youth votes alone besides all tha other demographics....All im saying is that we really do have a huge influence on who gets re-elected, but unfortunatly fools would rather not pay attention or play playstation or sumthin?.....Its a shame.

I saw a program that took a poll and found that the stance of the candidates on the war on terrorism wasn't as big an issue as some thought it would be. TUrns out a lof of the voters who were scared of keeping Bush in office became more scared of what Kerry might do or allow to occur during his term once his stance on certain moral values came into play.

Remember when he dropped that bomb when he was asked about gay marriages and mentioned Chainey's lesbian daughter? I thought he crushed Bush on that topic when he pretty much said to each his own. The whole idea of having freedom in the US is living your life the way you want to which includes not being told who you can be married to. I thought he won a lot of voters with that move but they say he lost a lot of votes on that alone. Like 92 percent of the married white women voted for Bush just on that angle.

I didn't vote either but not becuase I thought my vote didn't matter but because I honestly had a hard time picking between the two. I have to admit, after nine eleven and learned about all those Bush investment connections...I freaked out. I didn't care who it was going in but I wanted Bush out for sure.

Then I was surprised because some of my friends wee pro Bush which took my by surprise. They put it to me like this:

"Bush is really conservative while Kerry is really liberal. When it comes to other countries who would just love to show the US whats up, like Korea, Russia and France just to name a few, who would you want in office? A liberal who other countries think they can punk...or a conservative who you know will phuck you up?"

That kinda put me back on the fence.

I got to agree with duece on this one. The election was not bought. Our system is fucked up, but its not to the point where the shit is rigged. That's just takin it way too far. Your vote does make a difference, and if everybody thought that it did maybe things would change. Think about how many people on this site alone think that their vote doesn't count. Would you all vote for Kerry? Then multiply that by the whole population. That's more than enough votes to get Kerry into office. I think if you don't vote you really can't complain about shit, cause you didn't do a damn thing to try to change the way things are working. And don't be surprised by all those big red states in the middle of our country. Our country really is made up of mostly rural/redneck areas, I for one just don't realize it because I live in NYC. But don't forget how small a place like NYC is compared to the rest of the country. Go vote in the next 4 years, then come and complain how the system fucked you.

oh, and bush assigning the next president isn't even the biggest issue. (he will most likely be running against Hillary Clinton or John Edwards, and there's no way he'll "assign a president" against Hillary Clinton) The biggest issue right now is in the Supreme Court and the fact that Bush is most likely going to appoint a couple Supreme Court Justices. That's a huge issue that will last for the next 25 years, with tons of past decisions that could be overturned. Anybody value the right to abortion? You better hope that they don't overturn Roe v. Wade!
