I'm having some trouble picking a preamp for my studio. I've been doing alot of reading, and I still can't decide on what to get. i'm looking for a clean and warm sound. I've come up with a list of preamps that people have recomended to me, and i'd appreciate it if you guys could tell what would be the best choice.

Grace 101
M-audio Tampa
Safe sound p1
Groove tubes "the brick"

on that list i think the best is the grace.... the fmr rnc is another option in the same price range that is also good

adk have anew preamp that is interesting. still aint many reviews out there but it seems promising interchangable parts i.e can change from valve to solid state, transformers to transformerless can't say yet if it is quality tho but seems like it might be the goods

Avalon Or Focusrite Pre Amps Are The Shyt!!! Very Expensive Though. I Hear Presonus Makes A Good One Though For Like $500 I Believe.

Nothing beats the Preamps you get on a Mackie board and the phantom power is flawless. I'm movin a mixin board right now for 250 but I'll help a nigga out and do it for 200 plus shippin you know what i mean. All transactions via paypal too so both of us are protected. Let me know whats da deal.

Just so you know whats good...this is the board im talkin about
