i see wot your saying in a way BigD but do you honestly think people on here can't load a sample into the MPC and getting it looping right i've had my MPC for like 3 days and i could still make that beat on it !

Man all of you missed the point there was nothing said about sampling or blah blah blah.....I came back because we got all of the Just Blazes and Kanyes that don just joined up telling us how easy what they are doing is.....if any of you have been on here long enuff you would know I agree and I have said that method of sampling is pretty easy, but for you to talk out of your ass about you can can make the beat that's good or come telling us how some cat over at some other board made the beat in 5 minutes thats beside the point too.......go ahead put up or shut up......and as far as loading the sample in the MPC we know that depending on your level....thaz cool you had an mpc 3 days man...you are in the company on this board of folks that had MPC's 3+ years man LOL so what are you saying do you want to put up one of your beats and battle big mouth?

also like Big D said there is alot of stuff that wasent shown in that video(like the acutal diggin for the sample and chopping EQing etc.

I dont wanna this thread to get shut down so make sure yall keep it civilezed

if yall wanna take it to the next level

Exactly....make a heatmakers beat not just the beat they have with 2 parts to I mean flipped and screwed completely a full beat...with all of the nice breakdowns then whatever you said about how easy it is or anyone can do it I will believe it aight......I don't do them kind of beats but if you want we can do this....I won't disagree with how easy it is to load the sample and put a 4 bar loop behind it...thats not all they doing they on their beats....just that lil piece they showed you for "quick beat in 10 minutes" etc thats elementary for any mpc user I'm on my 3rd and had and sp12 and the 1200 so what you saying to me is not new wisdom....but around studio circles is you ever been out of house around to some cats that have come up with some concepts especially how they flipping samples or even and mpc LIVE competition....have you ever been to one where cats will prove my point...you got that mpc a few days you oversimplifying the art man by saying oh I can go home and make a beat like that it's definitely possible.....LOL thats all....but if you do listen to some of the dipset beats they loops to a point but a lot aint...the Juewlz Santana joints got more variations....

i agree, the heatmakers dude didn't leave out anything that most of us don't already know. why show them digging for samples? completeness? you can't just get a good dig on cue, and plus they probably buy a lot of tracks off diggers (DITC/soulman/etc) , not that there's anything wrong with that.

and it's not like any "secret" of theirs would stay secret for long, heatmakers looks like it rolls 1000 deep, plus the engineers and other niggas who hang around. most big-time producers end up givin away tips & equipment lists in Scratch & shit anyway.

no forum beats are going to sound even remotely like dipset anthem anyway unless someone wants to pay to get everyone's tracks engineered and mastered professionally.

why do muffuccas got to dis every damn thing ... i cant stand hearing this shit all the time.. its just a loop this and that... but whats crazy is aint one muffucca on this whole site can name a producer (a good producer) who doesnt use this "formula" if you will to make shit... for example the producers everyone gives props to all the time (madlib, just blaze, jay dee, primo, pete rock, everyfuckindecentproducer) all do it this way.... pete rock could post a beat on this site and muffucas would be like "not enough changes.. blahblahblah....

Gram an all tha rest of yall are getting the shidd twisted...ALL I SAID is that the cat ain't show everything that was behind the beat if this if for some instructions I was waiting for it, this ain't now instructional joint.......This ain't no sampling debate either.....some cats jumped in on how easy the shidd is...ok.....thats it man read tha fuckin thread and you will see aight....then start going on and on....its your fellow samplers that fucking it up into a dis man......saying its so easy or saying anyone can do what they do all I said if this how you feel bring ya shidd and show me....how is this a dis man explain cause it aint even what the thread is about....

no i think u misunderstand me BIGD see classic said it makes sampling look easy, and to be honest what they did there is one of the easier things you can do with a sample its just a catchy nice sounding loop that they looped and put some drums to it ! Now me saying i can do that with me MPC after three days isn't boasting im just saying if i can do that after that long it really can't be that hard which imo it isn't ! Things people like premier do with samples now that is hard and i could sit here all night and still not be able to produce some of the stuff he does !
I mean ok he didn't show everything but there isnt too much else to it the heatmakerz have actually said they don't dig in interviews and that they don't give a shit about the records and they thing record collecting is wack and woteva the guy said my mum gave me her collection i that he mostly uses that so....... i mean if you mum gives you her records and you just loop something its really not that difficult ! Im not denying it sounds pretty kewl and plenty of people will say oh yea that beats dope yea even i think it sounds good but that doesnt mean it woz difficult to do !
Thats great you have had your MPC three year but i don't see what that has to do with this if anything i would have thought you will already know how easy it is !
I think a lot of the heatmakerz beats are kewl and yea a lot aren't just looped either but that beat is i mean well its not even a beat like he said its just two sequences !
im not trying to give you new wisdom im sure you know al ot more than me and you have had three MPCs sp1200s and woteva thats kewl but it still doesnt make that beat anymore complex now im not saying i can go and do everything the heatmakerz do but those two sequences yes i can do that im not oversimplfying the art at all and infact if they ever released that track im sure they would do other stuff chops and woteva and it will be much better ! But im just saying IMO that what he did there doesnt really make sampling look easy as wot he did is quite easy im sure watching someone like premo or woteva he would make wot he does look very easy as its second nature to him but not many people could do what hes doing !
and whats with the come out and im gonna battle you stuff, i said even though ive had my mpc for a limited time i can still loop samples and do sum sequences and you come out with oh well theres people who have had their MPCs for 3 years so do you wana battle ! ? well no actually i woz just trying to validate a point !
I dunno i think we have a similar point of view on this tbh but its just got twisted !

yeah you right man...this one of the more interesting arguments....no one is saying sampling is bad and no one is saying they the best beatmaker....Now I can battle you if you want it ain't no thing, I like battling on equal footing though on one on one I like to have the same sample and that tells me who got the best beat.....that way people can decide the better beat...but like I said their style ain't mine but if its yours then I'll do a battle on what you think you can put up against the heatmakers....pick the sample and we can go...this should be fun...but the reason I had to pull the mpc card you seemed to be simplifying what you can do on one....I am just saying theres a lot of lil tricks on that piece I still get people telling me lil things man....and on any of the other classic gear that people take for granted especially since yes I used Fruity loops too....I just came off with the battle stuff because you seemed to be showing some boasting thats all....

Yea i agree this is one of the more interesting arguments its all good !
I could battle you but tbh honest 1 i'd probably get my ass kicked as i really havent been doing this for that long but i don't mind that so much, and the heatmakerz stuff isnt really my style but i still havent worked out how im gonna get stuff off my MPC onto my PC!
Yea im not simplifying the MPC far from it i've been on it loads since ive got it and its like everytime you pick it up you do something and you're like oh shit it does that too lol and im sure i'll be like that for a long time yet its a powerful thing that can do pretyy much woteva the fuck you tell it but i woz just saying that even with my limited knowledge of the MPC i can still put a sequence like that together thats a tribute to its ease of use tbh !
And yea i agree with you i think people do look down on hardware when they are using software thinking that you get an MPC and you're suddendly ah ip hop legend ! thats not wot i woz trying to say at all you have to put in work maybe even more work than on the PC to get the stuff out of it ! Its like a much more labour intensive process to get the same shit out of an MPC than it is if i woz using reason or fruity or woteva but its just that much more enjoyable imo coz u get to hit the pads and you got this thing just sat there and it allows you to all the crazy shit lol

either battle or meet me in the next beat this man....but yeah thats the part, I heard crazy beats in Fruity loops....but to do it on the gear is a challenge and the mpc can go WAY beyond a 4 bar loop man....thats all I am saying too....you need to hook that up to say a triton or module us the mpc as the sequencer for everything you gonna unlock some ill shidd.....its even easier with the 1000 man......

i dont think 'anyone could do that, they aint got no talent' is a realistic thing to say. if that was true then how come we all aint rich and famous? some people have an excellent ear, some dont.

thats real. any nerd can master protools & synths & MPCs, but to make hot beats a good ear is crucial. thats the secret big d was talkin about i think.

for example, i've written my own softsynth & drum machine software, but i cant program a hot sound to save my life.

thats my point.... that fact that you could do it aint shit... alot of people can do something once someone else does it ... being able to copy something doesnt mean it aint take talent to make it... its just that technical nerd producer argument, simple is bad or something... and its hatin in disguise i think...

the other thing is i dont think there's any hip hop beats i heard that i couldnt recreate it ... the same goes for most cats here, and anyone that has some talent and some experience.... i cant think of any beats that are so skillfull that i couldnt reproduce it if i wanted to ... this aint classical pianism or cello playin or something.... with the right gear and time... so just cause you could bite they shit and you could make it dont mean shit....

its making it in the first place that counts

I agree thats what they looking for is the next thing or either exploit something old...think all a dat hot shidd is old concepts taken to another level...so go back and listen to so concepts with samples that sounded good with some hip hop....I don't know what the new trend is sooooo, it could be discovered by mistake or on purpose...I dunno.
