Headphone Wires

Aight... My headphone wires are tangled/twisted up like crazy..

these aint those lil American Airlines headphones wit the skinny cord, its a thick as cord, and when its tangled and i pull it too hard, it can yank my whole interface and speakers down.

But anyway, does anyone have a way to untangle (unwrap) headphone wires..

Its not a huge problem so far but it cramps my work flow alot.

haha... this happens to me often enough and unfortunately there is no quick way out other than starting from the tip and unravel it all till you get to the phones... yup that's about how it's done... Peace. Oh and if you get some of those zip things the cops use to arrest folks you can use them to keep your wires bunched together and out of the way.

Well they are my headphones connected to my interface, And i wear them when I go into the booth.. or when i walk over to what is in essence the "booth".

They aren't in the way, but towards the middle, they get all bunched up and twirly and i cant walk all the way over the the mic.

man this shi* happens to me every session...i got some nice ass s logic ultrasones and its got that thick ass cord and it not only gets tangled but gets caught in the wheel for my chair all the time too...i hear what ur sayin nova cause i like to keep the cord un wrapped since i can move over to the piano and then the mpc, but whenever i leave it like that its a mess...i guess bluetooth would be the only solution?

For this I'm thinking maby you could get an extention so when you walk over to your booth you can just plug em in at that spot. I don't know what your layout is but that's prolly a good idea if you're stretchin your cord out alot and trippin ppl when you're in the booth.

Tape em to the floor?

Only way to unravel them is to unravel them.Unless you go all Aleander The Great and just cut the knot..But thats not gonna be good.
The problem may lie in your set up..Mine isnt alot of space so I dont get the head phone cord in knots.Probably 1nce a week you should just unravel the things..

I'll try to wrap them up every now and then, until i can afford to invest in an extension as mentioned earlier.

Also, anyone got a link to one of these extensions, and the price.

I've been in studios and used them before, but i dont wanna go to google and type extension and weave products come up... so yea im just lazy
